The 130-acre Central College campus is just a few streets from Pella's main square and two minutes from Iowa's largest lake. Central is a residential campus including dorms, townhouses, and apartment-style "green pods" for students. The study halls in this university have received gold ratings. Roe Centre - The complex houses the schools of education, psychology, and communication, as well as Community-Based Learning. The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) gave Central college a platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation for this building. There are also green roofs, natural ventilation systems, radiant floor heating/cooling systems, and daylight harvesting systems among the eco-friendly architectural practices conducted here.   

 

Vermeer Science Centre - This structure houses the schools of mathematics, computer science, physics, biology, and chemistry. Vermeer has numerous study areas and private tables outside professors' offices to enhance student/faculty engagement. Following that, it received a silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) grade.

 

Weller Centre for Business and International Studies - It was Central's first sustainable building, built in 1999, with natural light, solar panels, and carpet made of recyclable materials in each and every room. It houses the departments of commerce, foreign language, and international studies.

 

Academic facilities - In the summer of 2013, the Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium at the university acquired a new FieldTurf. A 400-meter BSS 1000 polyurethane track surrounds the field, which also includes twin runways for jump events and a two-way pole vault pit. There is also a  200-meter track and five tennis courts housed in the H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse.

 

Geisler Library - This is the official library of the university and houses a quarter of a million books, magazines, newspapers, music, reference periodicals, and several historical information on art and microfilms.
