On the campus sits Severance Hall, which serves as the Cleveland Orchestra's home. Glance through some of Case Western Reserve University’s facilities below -

Music: The campus radio is WRUW-FM (91.1 FM). Many cars in the region have its tagline, "More Music, Fewer Hits," painted on the back bumpers. Students and community volunteers work at WRUW. The station's programming falls under the non-commercial "variety" category.

Safety And Security: The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) plans for a range of situations on campus, including chemical spills, extreme weather, infectious diseases, and security concerns. Emergency Management is in charge of running RAVE, a multi-platform emergency alerting system, which it uses to send out warnings and directions for events on campus. The Office of Emergency Management also conducts risk analyses in an effort to detect potential safety concerns and minimize them.

Police And Security Services: The university manages both a security guard and a police unit of sworn policemen. The institution increased the function of protective services from its initial focus on security alone to include sworn officers with the authority to make arrests and who are armed.

Emergency Medical Services: A member of the National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation, CWRU Emergency Medical Services (CWRU EMS) is a student-run, entirely volunteer ambulance service. It offers free basic life support level medical care and transportation to nearby hospitals in the University Circle area.
