Library - The John M. Pfau Library is located on the grounds of the campus. It is named after Dr John Martin Pfau, the university's inaugural president. It is divided into two portions totalling 294,000 square feet.
Murillo Family Observatory - It is located atop Badger Hill in the northern part of campus. It serves as a teaching and research observatory. The observatory has two telescopes for study and education: a 20-inch Ritchey-Chretien and a 17-inch Adjusted Dall-Kirkham Astrograph. The observatory also features an observation deck with piers on which tiny telescopes can be set up for undergraduate laboratory sessions or open house nights. It is both an academic and a public space.
On-campus Residence - California State University's residential campus is divided into four villages: Arrowhead, Coyote, Sereno, and University Village. Students will find Singles, doubles, triples, and quads with a private bathroom and a common on campus. Along with a Public kitchen, piano, TV room, living room, central air and heat, study room, swimming pools, laundry, entertainment rooms, barbeque, and lounge spaces there are other amenities as well.
