Bowie State University is a public historically black university located in Bowie, Maryland, United States. It was founded in 1865 and is one of the oldest historically black colleges and universities in the country. Facilities
On campus, 23 per cent of students live in seven residence halls. There are a number of cultural performances, seminars, and sporting events here. On-campus facilities at Bowie State include an Addiction Prevention Centre, a walk-in health clinic, the BSU Bookstore, Dining Services, and Library Resources, among others. Library - The Thurgood Marshall Library is the main library at Bowie State University.
