About

The Anderson School of Management is the business school of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). It was founded in 1935 and is named after Marion Anderson, the school's major benefactor. A brief history of the school tells us that the University of California Regents approved the MBA degree four years after the UCLA School of Management was established in 1935. The school was predominantly an undergraduate institution in its early years, but this started to alter in the 1950s once Neil H. Jacoby was named dean.

 

The Full-Time MBA, Fully-Employed MBA, Executive MBA, PhD, UCLA-NUS Executive MBA, Master of Financial Engineering, and Master of Science in Business Analytics are the graduate programmes available at one of the top business schools in the USA. A total of 360 full-time MBA students and 70 executive MBA students are enrolled annually at UCLA Anderson. The teaching methodology used at UCLA Anderson incorporates lectures, case studies, experiential learning, and group projects. The ten core classes (mandatory courses that cover a wide variety of business fundamentals) and twelve (minimum) elective courses that makeup UCLA Anderson's curriculum. Throughout the core curriculum, pupils are divided into cohorts of 65 students, known as sections.

Ranking

US News and World Report in 2022 ranked this b-school #17 in Best Business Schools. It is ranked #2 in World University Rankings by QS in 2023. Bloomberg, another well-known publication has ranked the school at #20. The Economist in 2022 has also positioned this b-school at #6 overall and #5 in the regional rank. A private graduate business school called The Anderson School of Management is situated in Los Angeles. It is situated in UCLA's northern part of the campus. The Mullin, Cornell, Entrepreneurs, and Gold buildings make up the institute's campus. There are about 2000 students enrolled at the university.

Anderson School of Management Entry Requirements

 

Anderson School of Management has maintained criteria for all international applicants.
