About
Albion College is a private liberal arts college in Albion, Michigan. The Michigan Territorial Legislature granted a charter for a new seminary to Methodist settlers in Spring Arbour Township in 1835. The 1857 merger of the 1850-founded Albion Female Collegiate Institute and The Wesleyan Seminary and Female College at Albion resulted in the establishment of Albion College in 1861. The college was given permission by the legislature to award full four-year degrees to both men and women in that same year. The Michigan Historical Commission installed a sign in 1960 designating the college as a Michigan Historic Site.

Bachelor's degrees in business, humanities, fine arts, natural sciences, and social sciences are all available at Albion.
