Albany Medical College (AMC) is a private medical school located in Albany, New York. It was founded in 1839 by Alden March and James H. Armsby. Albany is a highly competitive college with an acceptance rate of only 1.26% overall and in-state, it is, 2.79%. Albany Medical College (AMC) has a variety of facilities available to students, faculty, and staff, as well as patients and the broader community. The university is the only medical college in Northeastern New York which offers medical facilities to its students. These include:
Clinical Facilities: The college operates several clinics and hospitals in the area, including Albany Medical Center Hospital, which serves as the primary teaching hospital for AMC students. Additionally, AMC has several research centres, such as the Center for Immunology and Immune Therapies, the Center for Cancer Care and Research, and the Center for Neuroscience Research, among others.
Library: The library at Albany Medical College is the J. Erik Jonsson Library, which serves the educational and research needs of the college's students, faculty, and staff. Albany Medical College acceptance rate is 11% for international students. This number is extremely cut-throat and requires students to be over-achieving in every regard. Entry Requirements
