Programme structure

The MSc Business & Finance course combines compulsory and optional modules, which you will study across three terms. You will then choose between the Dissertation and Business in Practice route to complete your course.

Our MSc Business & Finance course has been designed as an industry-focused postgraduate course for graduates with a strong quants and/or finance background.
 

When assessing your academic record, we take into account your grade average, and the position of the institution where you studied your qualification.
 

You must have, or be expecting to obtain, at least a 2.1 degree at Undergraduate level from a UK university, or overseas equivalent from a top-performing University. Your Undergraduate degree must have included some study of finance.
 

If you have studied a significant amount of accounting or finance at undergraduate level then our specialist finance courses may be of interest. 
 

Entry requirements

• A first or high 2.1 achieved at Undergraduate level, including some study of finance. 

• We do not require a GMAT or GRE score but a well-balanced score (700+) may strengthen your application. 
   

English language requirements
 

If English is not your first language, you must meet a minimum overall standard in a recognised test of English, examples are shown below. You must show a good balance across all sections of the test and it must have been taken within two years of starting the course. We will require your certificates as evidence. 

EU/International fees: £33,450

This is payable at the start of the year, or in instalments, but to secure your place on the course you must lodge a £1,500 deposit with us within four weeks of receiving your offer. The deposit is part of the total fee, not an additional cost.
