Program Overview

This course is designed to equip you with a broad knowledge of business and management, and the employability skills for a successful career in global business. Your third year will be spent abroad, in either a partner institution and/or working on an approved work placement. This will boost your academic, personal and professional development, and enable you to build your global network.

We have partnered with over 50 institutions in over 20 countries around the world. Current partnerships are offered in Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, North America, Singapore, South Korea and various countries across Europe.

In your fourth year you'll return to WBS to complete your studies, confident and empowered by your overseas experience.

You can tailor your degree towards your career aspirations by selecting elective modules from WBS and other University of Warwick departments. This provides the opportunity to specialise in a particular area or to take a broader approach to your studies.

Course Content
YEAR 1

Term one

You will study 1 core module and 3 compulsory modules introducing you to the key areas of business..

Term two

You will study 3 compulsory modules and 1 elective where you can choose between Business Analytics, Digital Ventures, Management of Global Risks, or a language.

Term three

Revision and exams.

How you will be assessed

Throughout the course you will be assessed by a range of different methods including examinations, class tests, essays, reports, presentations and group work.

YEAR 2

Terms one and two

Study 2 core modules, 1 compulsory module and 5 electives which can be chosen from a range of subject areas.

YEAR 3

Studying or working abroad

Your third year will be spent abroad, in either a partner institution and/or working on an approved work placement. This boosts your academic, personal and professional development, and enables you to build your global network.

FINAL YEAR

Terms one and two

You will study 1 core module, 1 compulsory module and 6 electives. If you decide to study one of our pathways you will continue to study elective modules relevant for that pathway or you can choose electives from topics such as HR, Strategy or Behavioural Science.

Entry Requirement
- A levels: A*AA
- A level Accounting and Business Studies are considered overlapping subjects
- GCSEs: A/7 in Maths and A/7 in a Humanities/Social Sciences subject
- International Baccalaureate: 38 overall
- Applications from candidates with other internationally-recognised qualifications are also welcomed.
