About

The University of West London (UWL) is a public research university in the United Kingdom with campuses in Ealing, Brentford, Reading and Berkshire. The Lady Byron School was founded in 1860, was renamed Ealing College of Higher Education and is now part of UWL. Its current name was formed after 18 years, followed by several mergers, acquisitions and campus moves. It is the best modern university in the UK for media, communications, art, and design.

 

According to the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide of 2022, UWL is among the top 10 universities in the UK for teaching quality. The university is ranked at the top in the UK for photography and film production in the Guardian's 2022 ranking tables.
