MSc Digital Health

In this unique programme you will learn the skills necessary to harness the power of sensors, mobile and wireless networks to provide solutions within the healthcare sector.
 

Students will study the latest trends and technologies in Digital Health in the following modules together with a master’s dissertation to obtain the MSc degree:

• Introduction to eHealth (core, 20 credits)*
• Mobile Networks and Smartphone Applications (core, 20 credits)
• Data Mining and Visualization (core, 20 credits)
• Ethics for the IT Professional (core, 10 credits)
• Object Oriented Analysis & Design (core, 10 credits)
• Research Design and Methods (core, 10 credits)
• Emerging Topics in Computing (core, 10 credits)
• eHealth and Healthcare Systems* (core, 20 credits)

You require a Bachelor Honours Degree (2.2 or above) in Computing/ Engineering (or Relevant Disciplines) from a UK academic institute or an equivalent 4-year international degree qualification.
 

You may also be considered with other academic, vocational or professional qualifications deemed to be equivalent.
 

For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level. The qualifications below must have been gained within two years of the start of your course.
