• To look at illustration in relation to text analysis and the articulation of narrative, tone and pace in sequential image making
• To explore notions of authorship and the reproduced image
• Written work
• Online personal archive
• To design a document using material from your online personal archive
• Project presentation
• Ongoing development of your practice-led project
• Lectures, seminars, crits and tutorials 
• Inductions to the workshops

The standard minimum entry requirements for this course are one or a combination of the following qualifications:
 

• Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Level 3 or 4)
• 2 A Levels at grade C or above
• Merit, Pass, Pass (MPP) at BTEC Extended Diploma
• Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
• Access to Higher Education Diploma
• Or equivalent EU/International qualifications, such as International Baccalaureate Diploma at 24 points minimum
• And 3 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above (grade A*-C)

English Entry Requirements

• IELTS level 6.0 or above, with at least 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking

International fee

£25,970 per year

BA Illustration graduates go on to work in advertising, animation, curating, film, journalism, motion graphics, photography, publishing and teaching. Many others go on to postgraduate study.
