International Baccalaureate

Typical offer    

34 points overall from the full IB Diploma.     

Subjects    

Higher Levels must include at least one from Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, Mathematics, Physics or Psychology with at least grade 5.

European Baccalaureate

Typical offer    

Overall result of 80%

Additional requirements    

• Evidence of academic studies to a high level in science subjects with good results is essential (at least a score of 8).

• Also you will need to have a good ability in mathematics.

• 80%-85% from ISC Indian School certificate of Education (CISCE)

• 80%-85% from SSC All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE)

Additional requirements    

• Evidence of academic studies to a high level in either Biology, Chemistry and Physics with good results are essential. You must also have a good level of Mathematics.

• Our entry requirements are guidelines and we assess all applications on a case-by-case basis.

English language requirements

• IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in each component

Home students: £9,250 per year

Channel Islands and Isle of Man students: £9,250 per year

International students: £22,500 per year

• evolutionary genetics options may lead you towards a career in genome evolution and conservation

• genome stability, genetic disease and cancer modules can prepare you for careers in medical research

• genomics and bioinformatics options give you experience in the analysis of large data sets – marketable skills relevant to a wide range of scientific and non-scientific careers.
