Program Overview
Studying Chemistry, you’ll learn about the building blocks of matter at the atomic and molecular scale.

You’ll initially focus on core modules. Then you’ll choose from a range of options, allowing you to tailor your degree to your interests. You can study, for example:

On this course, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a member of one of our research teams during a summer research placement every year (subject to satisfactory performance). You’ll receive a stipend to cover living expenses. And in your integrated Masters year, you’ll develop advanced research skills by working alongside our chemists. All this prepares you for a future in scientific research or a variety of other careers.
