Entry Requirement
A-level:
- Overall: BBC.
- Required subjects: One of (at grade B): Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Sport Studies, Physical Education, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Technology or a related subject.
- Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted.
- GCSE or equivalent: English Language and Mathematics at Grade C(4) (or equivalent).
Minimum standard in English and mathematics

If you are applying for an undergraduate course at Surrey, you must meet our minimum standards for English and mathematics.

English:
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard XII , English 70% from CBSE or ISC exam boards
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard XII, English 80% from the majority of Indian state boards (excluding Andhra Pradesh/Telangana/U.P/Bihar/Gujrat/Punjab).
Mathematics:
- Standard XII, Mathematics Pass
- All India Secondary School Examination, C2
- Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination, 6.
