Program Overview

Supply chain management is widely accepted as a critical business competency. It encompasses procurement of materials, processing and distribution of products and services to customers. In many companies, 80% or more of their turnover is spent outside the organisation and this course helps you become effective in managing this.

The course is aimed particularly at who will work within supply chain management and is suitable for those with a background in support functions such as sales, maintenance, finance and marketing. It has been designed to cover the latest industrial environmental issues.

  • For entry to Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, we'd look for a first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian institution.
  • Although 60% is a general entry requirement we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
  • Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%. If you wish to apply for a research degree you'd normally have to have a Masters degree and some experience of research work.
