Program Overview

This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society. If you successfully complete this course and have no background, or an unaccredited background, in psychology, this course will provide the route to gain Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

  • For entry to Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, we'd look for a first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian institution.
  • Although 60% is a general entry requirement we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
  • Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%. If you wish to apply for a research degree you'd normally have to have a Masters degree and some experience of research work.
