Program Overview

The MSc Investment & Finance is for those wanting to develop careers in areas such as security analysis, portfolio analysis and investment management. The course provides you with a comprehensive education in the theory of finance. It also covers the various techniques and analytical tools used by investment professionals in practical decision-making. 

  • For entry to Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, we'd look for a first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian institution.
  • Although 60% is a general entry requirement we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
  • Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%. If you wish to apply for a research degree you'd normally have to have a Masters degree and some experience of research work.
