The MSc Human Resource Management is for those who aim to pursue a career in the field of human resource management. The aim of this course is to develop an advanced level of knowledge and understanding related to the human resource management function in organisations. Mixing theory and practice, this programme offers you the opportunity for in-depth study of organisations and the management of work.

By the end of this programme, you'll have an understanding of, and be able to critically evaluate how organisational and HR strategies are shaped and developed in response to internal and external environmental factors. You will display a critical understanding of professional practice in human resource management, informed by an international outlook and strong social awareness.

Entry Requirement
For entry to Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, we'd look for a first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian institution.
Although 60% is a general entry requirement we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%. If you wish to apply for a research degree you'd normally have to have a Masters degree and some experience of research work.
