Naval architecture is an ever-evolving industry with many specifications and unique challenges. In studying this course, you'll have the opportunity to become a competent naval architecture graduate which industry is looking for. Our MSc Advanced Naval Architecture course addresses an identified market need for a postgraduate qualification relevant to the naval architecture industry, and which develops skills and knowledge in technical and engineering aspects of that industry.

  • For entry to Strathclyde postgraduate programmes, we'd look for a first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian institution.
  • Although 60% is a general entry requirement we understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
  • Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%. If you wish to apply for a research degree you'd normally have to have a Masters degree and some experience of research work.
