Modules
Each compulsory module typically comprises:

• 20 lecture contact hours
• 5 or 10 contact hours for seminars, workshops and tutorials
• intensive independent study.

Compulsory
You must take four compulsory modules for the MSc.

• Corporate Finance: investigates the relationship between corporate liabilities and corporate actions.
• Financial Econometrics: the theory and practice of financial econometrics.
• International Finance: key issues in international finance including analysing models of exchange rate determination.
• Investment Analysis: investment value analysis, risk and return.

• SQA Highers: BBBB to AAAAB
• A-Level: ABB to A*A*A
• International Baccalaureate (IB): 36 (HL 6,5,5) to 38 (HL 6,6,6 plus SL 6,6,6). From 2021, programmes requiring A-levels Mathematics will accept either Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation at higher level.
