Program Overview

This course covers the fundamentals of sociological analysis. Subjects include crime and deviance, religion and belief, migration, race and racism, new genetics and masculinities. We'll also give you training in research techniques and information retrieval.

Specialist third-year modules explore current thinking on a range of important issues. You'll learn from experts and explore your own ideas in small groups. In the final year, you will carry out a research project of your own.

Entry Requirement
Applicants with a minimum aggregate of 75% and 75-80% in key subjects at Standard XII will typically be considered for direct admission to undergraduate degree programmes.
Applicants with a minimum of 3 A levels will be considered for direct admission to undergraduate programmes.
International Baccalaureate diploma holders will be considered for direct admission to undergraduate programmes. Required scores and subjects vary from course to course.
