Program Overview

This course focuses on providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this important area of surveying.

It combines both property valuation and management knowledge with skills in planning and regeneration to allow you to gain a full perspective not only on the physical aspects of the built environment, but the social and environmental aspects as well. Course Content
Autumn semester

The focus of the first semester is on the acquisition and understanding of core knowledge and skills.

Core modules:
- Applied Real Estate Valuation
- Real Estate Economics
- Planning Design and Professional Ethics
- Perspectives on Spatial Planning and Development
Spring semester

The second semester focuses on the development, application and integration of knowledge and skills.

Core modules:
- Real Estate Development
- Planning Law
Summer

You will complete your dissertation over the summer.

- Dissertation
Entry Requirement
You will usually need a 3 or 4 year bachelors degree from a recognised university in a relevant subject for entry. Most postgraduate courses require a UK 2:1 or equivalent for entry, but some courses may consider 2:2 grades.
UK Degree Classification: First class Honours, International Equivalent (India): 70%.
UK Degree Classification: 2:1 (Upper Second Class Honours), International Equivalent (India): 60%.
