First year

In year one you will be taught a range of fundamental engineering principles that will equip you with a strong foundation of engineering knowledge.

Second year

You will spend your second year further developing these foundations and improving your project design skills, before specialising in your third year.

In your third and fourth year you choose your specialism from:

- You can also spend a year between your third and fourth year working in industry.

- Interdisciplinary Group Design Project
- Finance and Law for Engineers
Fourth year

In your third and fourth year you choose your specialism from:

You can also spend a year between your third and fourth year working in industry.

- Individual Advanced Project
Entry Requirement
You will usually need a 3 or 4 year bachelors degree from a recognised university in a relevant subject for entry. Most postgraduate courses require a UK 2:1 or equivalent for entry, but some courses may consider 2:2 grades.
UK Degree Classification: First class Honours, International Equivalent (India): 70%.
UK Degree Classification: 2:1 (Upper Second Class Honours), International Equivalent (India): 60%.
UK Degree Classification: 2:2 (Lower Second Class Honours), International Equivalent (India): 55%.
