Program Overview
Sport and Exercise Sciences is a discipline that has its roots in biomechanics, psychology, physiology and nutrition. This field has developed a great deal over the past century and contributes greatly to our understanding of societal issues, health and disease, and supporting elite performance.

Topics covered will include the neuromusculoskeletal system, sport and exercise nutrition, current developments in physiology, advanced laboratory techniques, biomechanics of human movement and the psychology of sport and performance. You can choose to undertake all modules in the core disciplines, or specialise in either Physiology or Biomechanics.
