Academic entry qualification overview
 

The minimum academic entry requirement for this Master's course is an Upper Second Class (2:1) UK honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant subject, such as relevant engineering, science, business, economics and management disciplines.
 

English language
 

All applicants will need to demonstrate competency in English language. Applicants who do not already possess an acceptable English Language qualification will need to take a recognised test and attain the required English Language score:

• IELTS: at least 6.5 overall with 6.5 in writing and no other sub-test less than 6.0.

• TOEFL iBT: at least 90 overall with 22 or above in writing and no other sub-test less than 20. We do not accept 'MyBestScore'.

• Pearson PTE: at least 70 overall with 70 in writing and no other sub-test less than 65.

The MSc Management of Projects acquaints students with the basic processes of project management focuses specifically on the application of project management techniques and the people management challenges in application of project management techniques, using simulation exercises to provide students with hands-on practical experience of managing a project throughout its life cycle, developing team working, decision making and communication skills which employers value highly. Successful graduates of this programme find employment in a wide range of organisations including Bentley Motors, Fujitsu, Activisys FZCO, EPAM Systems, UK NHS, CGGVeritas, Siemens, Carllion, Grand Rig International, also PhD-level research in project management.
