Academic Requirements
 

• Successful completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.
• All our programs are between the range of English A level grades of AAA – BBB.
• The percentage will be based on the aggregate of the best of 4 core subjects (including English).

Please note: Sometimes your offer will be made on condition of you achieving an overall score in your XII standard exams, while some programmes will ask for specific scores in certain subjects. As such, any subject-specific requirements will reflect the overall percentage required (eg. 85% in best four subjects, including 85% in Maths), along with the individual score for each subject.

Employability is embedded into the MPsycholSci (Hons) programme and can be the necessary stepping stone into a successful career in many sectors such as public relations, marketing, teaching, finance and sports. Your future employers can be reassured by the fact that the Psychology BSc (Hons) programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Alternatively many of our graduates choose to become a professional or chartered psychologist or as the foundation for further postgraduate study at Liverpool or other leading research institutes.
