Academic Requirements
 

• Successful completion of examinations at standard X and XII (Higher Secondary School Certificate) with minimum marks of approximately 70 to 85%, according to the course and exam board.
• All our programs are between the range of English A level grades of AAA – BBB.
• The percentage will be based on the aggregate of the best of 4 core subjects (including English).

Please note: Sometimes your offer will be made on condition of you achieving an overall score in your XII standard exams, while some programmes will ask for specific scores in certain subjects. As such, any subject-specific requirements will reflect the overall percentage required (eg. 85% in best four subjects, including 85% in Maths), along with the individual score for each subject.

Students who graduate from Egyptology are equipped with skills required for employment or advanced study in Egyptology or related disciplines. In addition to the subject specific career pathways, graduates have also gone on to careers in a range of public service and private industry, for example the police, science journalism or financial services. Many past students have progressed through doctoral studies.
