Students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree:
 

• An overall score of 65% - 85% in the Standard XII depending on the course you are applying for.
• A - Level qualifications.
• Between 27 and 34 International Baccalaureate (IB) points depending on the course you wish to apply for.

The cost of studying at University of Lincoln varies largely depending on the type of university and the degree chosen. At the end of this six year course successful students will receive their BMBS degree, which is a primary medical qualification (PMQ). Holding a PMQ entitles students to provisional registration with the General Medical Council, subject only to its acceptance that there are no Fitness to Practise concerns that need consideration.

Graduates are required to undergo a further two years of foundation doctor training. Full registration is granted by the GMC at the end of the first year of this training.
