Are you looking to not just manage but to lead in a responsible, innovative, sustainable and inspirational manner, in a range of business functions?

Studying our CMI-accredited Leadership and Management course will open doors to many exciting employment roles. A good leader needs management skills, communication skills, organisational skills and team-building ability, but they also require a deep knowledge of business in order to lead the innovation of products and processes in a sustainable way

Course Content
This course is studied over one year full-time and consists of eight compulsory and two optional modules in Stage 1. Stage 2 consists of a piece of management related research project.

Stage 1 aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of management and leadership in contemporary organisations, covering topics such as corporate strategy, marketing and communications, accounting and financial management and leadership and change management.

Stage 2 consists of one compulsory module; the Business Report. This allows you to further develop your employability and research skills whilst practically applying the knowledge and skills developed throughout Stage 1.

The MSc Leadership and Management programme is available with an optional industrial placement, which will require you to complete the Industrial placement Report.

Students can choose two optional modules from Level 7 KBS modules delivered at Canterbury during the Spring term.

Entry Requirement
For entry to a Kent postgraduate degree programme (Master's), Indian students typically need to have completed a three or four-year undergraduate degree (Honours Bachelor degree or Professional degree) at an accredited university or college. General Bachelor degrees may sometimes be considered. Exact requirements will depend on the postgraduate degree you are applying for and the institution you have studied at.
For programmes that require a 2:1 we usually ask for a First Class degree, a final CGPA of 6.0/10, or 60%. Students from top institutions may be considered with a high Second Class degree, a final CGPA of 5.5/10, or 55%. For programmes that require a 2:2 we usually ask for a high Second Class degree, a final CGPA of 5.5/10, or 55%.
