You begin with an introduction to theories of performance studies and a wide range of theatre practices that also includes practical workshops. In addition, you are introduced to the language of film and its history, including framing, sound, editing and lighting. During all stages of your study, you have a wide range of modules to choose from, covering everything from documentary cinema and location scouting to musical theatre and Shakespeare.
In your final year, you have the opportunity to complete an independent research or practice-based project on a subject of your choice. This allows you to focus on a topic you are particularly passionate about.
