Healthcare scientists are involved in 80% of all clinical decisions in the NHS. The diagnostic tests that you perform, analyse and interpret will ensure patients have the correct diagnosis to ensure treatment pathways are accurate and lead to improvements in their quality of life.

Working within the demanding field of Vascular Science, Healthcare Scientists support the diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of diseases of the blood vessels.

Vascular Science practitioners specifically work in a fast-paced, challenging and stimulating environment which combines the use of both traditional and innovative technologies in order to provide excellent patient care and clinical support. Enjoying interaction with people and having excellent communication skills are a vital part of the role.
