Our illustration graduates go on to all kinds of career possibilities. Students complete a placement in the second year so they start to learn what avenue they want to pursue. They work with freelance illustrators, social justice organisations, animation studios, and many other studios. As a course we visit or collaborate with Thought Bubble, London Book Fair, The Wilson Museum, and Cheltenham Literature Festival. We invite publishers, agents, and working illustrators throughout the year and go out to studio visits, including Jelly London, NoBrow Press, and Handsome Frank.

After graduation, our alumni excel in various creative fields, such as children’s books, comics, animation, editorial illustration, surface pattern design, graphic design, concept art, game art, and publishing.
