There are six subject pathways to choose from:
 

• Accounting and Finance
• Biosciences
• Engineering
• Management and Business Economics
• Mathematics with Accounting, Economics, Finance or Management
• Psychology

Around 80 per cent of the course is devoted to subject that relate directly to your proposed degree programme. All students take Academic English Language and Study Skills within the context of your academic discipline, which accounts for approximately 20 per cent of classes, and covers reading, writing, listening and speaking.

The International Year One is suitable for international students who have studied A levels, International Baccalaureate, a recognised Foundation programme or an international equivalent.

The programme lasts for three terms or approximately nine months and has intakes in both September and January.

Successful completion of the International Year One programme (subject to achieving the specified grades for progression) offers direct entry to Year 2 of a select number of undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University of Exeter Business School, the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences or the College of Life and Environmental Sciences.

The cost of studying at University of Exeter varies largely depending on the type of university and the degree chosen. Furthermore, students who choose to study at the postgraduate level typically pay higher tuition fees, which again vary depending on the programme chosen.
