The Masters in Management of Bioeconomy, Innovation and Governance (MSc MBIG) is an innovative and dynamic postgraduate qualification designed to meet the increasing demand for skilled people in the growing global bioeconomy.

The MSc MBIG programme responds to the central challenges of the bioeconomy, including:

developing sustainable innovation in a responsible manner
identifying and exploiting value throughout innovation ecosystems

Course Content
The MSc MBIG programme draws upon real life case studies and the latest research findings from the Innogen Institute.

Experiential learning is encouraged, and is accomplished through:
- problem-based group work activities
- presentations
- interactive seminars
- conventional lectures
You will complete six compulsory courses (80 credits) and a selection of optional courses (40 credits), then work on an independently researched dissertation, which can be a conventional academic dissertation or a work-based project.
Entry Requirement
CBSE All India Senior School Certificate Examination (SSC), CISCE Indian School Certificate (ISC) Standard XII: overall 80% with three subjects at 75%.
Award of Certificate with five subjects at Class XII, with an overall average of 80% or above and minimum 80% in all required subjects (or 85% where we require a grade A at SQA Higher). Grade XII CBSE Applied Mathematics is not accepted to meet a Mathematics subject requirement.

Advanced entry direct into Year 2 of many of our Science and Engineering degree programmes is possible for applicants who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement in the Higher Secondary School Certificate, but only where awarded by CBSE or CISCE. Advanced entry is offered into Year 2 to students from India with the relevant Indian boards. For advanced entry applicants must achieve the award of Certificate with minimum of five subjects at Class XII, with an overall average of 85% or above and minimum 85% in all required subjects as stated in our prospectus.
