The MA / MFA Sound and Music suite will provide a significant opportunity to extend your skill base through applied practice and research in professional contexts.

You will develop projects in your area of specialism (e.g. performance, production, sound and music for media, games or theatre), and capitalise on our expertise in interdisciplinary working to develop collaborative projects alongside other practitioners and researchers studying Acting, Drama, Performing Arts, Dance, Multi-media, Film, animation and architecture, modelling professional practice and modes of collaboration by operating as creative and collaborative innovators.

Programme-specific skills and professional contexts will include: Sound and Music Performance, Sound and Music Design and Production, Sound and Music for Games, Sound and Music for Theatre, Sound and Music for Games.

- To enable you to develop and apply understanding and critical awareness of the distribution of expertise, organisational climate and culture of the context of their learning design and innovation projects at different levels of impact scale.

Context and Student-specific live applied project
- To enable and facilitate you in designing, implementing, facilitating and leading a learning design and innovation project in your professional context.
- To enable you to develop and apply coherent frameworks for reflexive interdisciplinary learning
- To enable you to model transversal skills development and reflexive practice within a learning design and innovation project in your professional context.
- To enable you to conduct and present an evaluative case study, in the form of an interactive portfolio and presentation of Praxis
Entry Requirement
Students must have at least a 3-year Second Division Honours Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce (minimum length 3 years), or BEng, BAgriculture, B Laws, B Medicine, B Dentistry (3 years Bachelor of Arts, Science or Commerce, BTech etc - i.e. not Honours also acceptable) and have scored an average of 50% or above from the following Universities: Delhi; Mumbai; Pune; Kolkata; Chennai; Anna; Bharatiyar; MSU Baroda; Bangalore 55% or above from all other recognised institutions.
