It is suggested to begin preparations approximately a year ahead and submit applications about six months before the programme's commencement.

• Applicants must have completed Standard XII with a minimum of 90% from ISC, CBSE, or Maharashtra boards, 85% from the West Bengal board, or 95% from other state boards. 
• Required subjects include Mathematics and Chemistry. 
• While A level Physics is advantageous, it is not mandatory; however, AS Physics is required if the mechanics module is not included in the Mathematics A level.
