Core Module

You'll study:
 

• European union politics and policy-making
• Scopes and methods of politics and international relations
   

Plus 3 units from:
 

• Comparative European politics
• Societal modernisation and the transformation of democracy
• International terrorism and counter-terrorism
• International relations theories
• International security: theories and concepts
• Memory culture - memory politics
• Foreign policy analysis
• Russian politics in comparative perspective
• Comparative public policy and social welfare: cross-national, European and global perspectives
• The politics of gender inequality
• Gender Theory

Typically, you should have a Bachelor degree with a final overall result of at least First Class. However, due to the number of different grading scales in use, we ask that you upload a copy of the grading scale used by your institution, along with your transcript, when you submit your application.
 

To apply for this course, you should have an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering and vehicle engineering.
 

We may make an offer based on a lower grade if you can provide evidence of your suitability for the degree.
 

If you have graduated within the last 5 years from an Indian university where the medium of instruction is English and have achieved the required level of English in your Indian 12th Standard examinations, we may be able to assess your English. More information can be found here.
 

English language requirements
 

• IELTS: 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in all components

• The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic): 62 with no less than 59 in any element

• TOEFL IBT: 90 overall with a minimum 21 in all 4 components
   

You will need to get your English language qualification within 24 months prior to starting your course.
