About
The University of Lincoln is a public research university located in Lincoln, England. It was founded long back in 1861 although it gained university status in the year 1992 and has since grown to become one of the largest universities in the UK. The main campus is located next to the Brayford Pool in the centre of Lincoln. Lincolnshire has satellite campuses in Riseholme and Holbeach.
The university is set up as a college-based system, with a pro-vice chancellor overseeing each college. There are four colleges of study, and each one has a number of schools, research centres, and institutes. These four colleges are:

City Centre Campus and Brayford Pool Campus are the two main campuses here. The scenic campus offers a contemporary, student-centred environment and is highly attractive. Library: There are 3 libraries on campus which are the University library, Ross Library and the NCFM library. These are open 24/7 and offer a wide range of print and digital resources, as well as study spaces, computer labs, and a café. All these 3 libraries are open 24/7.
Accommodation: Lincoln Courts have 17 contemporary buildings of self-catered apartments. Cygnet Wharf provides traditional residence halls. This complex has around 3 buildings. The other residential buildings on-campus also provide options for students, including self-catered apartments, flats and houses.
Cafeteria: There are several places open on campus where students can take a refreshing break during their hectic study hours and lectures. Lindons in the Minerva Building provides Homemade breakfast, lunch and cakes. Large salad bar and grab-and-go sandwiches. There are several others places on campus such as Groundworks offering vegetarian food only, Good Food & Company etc
