• Candidates with a BTEC National Extended Diploma in an Engineering subject must achieve Merit in both Mathematics units. 
• Those with a combination of A-Level and BTEC National Diploma/Extended Certificate in an Engineering subject must have A Level Mathematics at Grade C if Mathematics units for the BTEC National are not included. Similarly, applicants with a combination of A-Level and BTEC National Diploma/Extended Certificate in Applied Science are also required to have A Level Mathematics at Grade C.
•  International Baccalaureate applicants need to attain 28 Points overall, with Higher Level Mathematics at 5 and Higher Level Physics or Chemistry at 5.
• Those undertaking the IELTS Academic test should work towards achieving an overall score of 6.0, ensuring that their scores in each section do not fall below 5.5.
