University of East London Ranking

The University of East London's rankings have always been high and the uni is recognized by world-renowned ranking agencies. According to the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, 94% of UEL's research was "internationally recognised." The university was ranked 801 in the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings and holds an overall score of 4.2 stars according to the student reviews on Studyportals. The institution is a member of several international associations, including Universities UK, MillionPlus, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and the European University Association. In the QS World University Rankings 2022, the university is ranked 801–100 in total. 

If we look at the University of East London's ranking in The Complete University Guide, we find that it was placed at number 127 for 2022, which is down a few spots from its placement of 116th in 2021. Course Rankings

According to The Complete University Guide, the university is placed 111th for Business & Management Studies and 87th for Accounting & Finance. The university was ranked number 76 in Accounting & Finance Rankings and number 120 in Business, Management & Marketing by The Guardian, a UK-only publication. Candidates should give the University of East London great consideration if they plan to major in business, finance, or accounting. 

Both The Complete University Guide and The Guardian have given the university a decent ranking when it comes to taking engineering courses. For three years in a row (2019–2021), The Complete University Guide (CUG) has put the university at number 53 for studying civil engineering. The Mechanical Engineering programme has been ranked by CUG at 64 for 2021. According to The Guardian, the university's mechanical engineering departments are ranked 29 while its civil engineering programmes are ranked 49.
