Program Overview

The aim of the MSc is to generate an integrated perspective of all those components that constitute systemic, sustainable, and successful healthcare facilities. These components include: a strong emphasis on the value of real estate and place-making; an understanding of all elements necessary to enable significant environments for healthcare; a holistic perspective on Healthcare Facilities as a social provision.

You will gain expertise on how the architectural, engineering, technological, economic, social and policy dimensions come together in successful healthcare facility planning, design, delivery and management. The MSc will prepare you for an important and rewarding career in the sectors related to healthcare environments, such as healthcare architecture, planning, construction, or in the capital/estates and facilities departments of healthcare services.

MSc Healthcare Facilities modules are taught in intensive, week-long blocks (each module requires one very intensive week attendance on campus), so can be aligned easily with employment demands.
