Program Overview

Advanced Audiology is designed for practising audiologists looking to enhance their clinical skills. Graduates are eligible to apply for senior clinical roles in the NHS or private sector. A variety of specialist modules can be selected to suit students' professional needs. The programme has a strong research and evidence-based practice foundation.

A wide range of optional modules enables students to focus on specific advanced fields of audiology relevant to their professional practice. Students will learn about the latest research in each field and how to apply this to patient care and service delivery. Students will gain proficiency in using new tools and techniques in line with advanced-level practice.

Course Content
Modules

MSc students undertake 8 modules to the value of 180 credits, including a Dissertation.

PG Dip students take 120 credits of taught modules but do not write a Dissertation.

Each taught module is worth 15 academic credits and represents approximately 150 learning hours (this includes lectures, tutorials, laboratory and practical work, assessments, home reading and revision). Students should note that this is approximately the equivalent of four weeks’ work in an average full-time job. For MSc students, the Dissertation is worth 60 credits and represents approximately 600 learning hours, including supervision, collecting date and independent study.

Entry Requirement
we require applicants to complete a three to five year Bachelor's degree and obtain a First Class or high Second Class degree. The degree should be awarded by an institution recognised by the government of India and passed with the required grades.
The minimum grade requirement ranges from the GPA of 6.5 – 8.5/10 or 55%-70% and depends on the grading scale and institution of prior study.
