Program Overview

Masters study in Cultural Geography at Royal Holloway was founded in 1995 as one of the first masters programmes in the world to offer students focused engagement with the then emerging sub-discipline of Cultural Geography. Twenty five years later and Cultural Geography is one of the most dynamic sub-disciplines in contemporary geography. Our course reflects this dynamism, exploring therelationships between our physical world, human identity and mobility.

Entry Requirement
Students who have successfully completed a Bachelors degree in an appropriate subject with good grades/GPA will be considered for entry to a Royal Holloway Master's degree programme. Exact requirements will depend upon the programme you are planning to study at Royal Holloway and the university you have studied at, but departments will usually require an overall grade between a 55% to 65%.
Students who have successfully completed a Masters degree in an appropriate subject with good grades/GPA will be considered for entry to a Royal Holloway MPhil/PhD programme.
