Regent's University London (previously Regent's College) is an English private university in London. It is a subsidiary of Galileo Global Education, Europe's leading provider of higher education. The Regents University Regent's College, London, was founded in 1984. It was granted teaching degree-awarding authority in 2012 and was incorporated as a university in 2013. It is among the UK's five private universities. The university's main campus is located in Regent's Park in Central London.  

 

The Crown lease was turned over in 1984 by Rockford College in Illinois, which established Regent's College principally to provide a "study abroad" programme and courses with a strong British flavour. The first students arrived in 1985, and a regular flow of students from the United States has since persisted. 

 

Many of this university's alumni have remarkable professions with notable organisations. The Regent's Clubs have also been founded by the university, with the goal of expanding the university's network with its graduates.
