Program Overview

The Business for Agri-food & Rural Enterprise programmes develop your conceptual understanding of the principles and processes of change affecting individuals, groups or organisations within the agri-food and rural business sectors, through an active and innovative approach to learning and teaching. You will complete your course at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), Loughry Campus, Cookstown. Those who successfully complete both the PG Certificate and PG Diploma can progress onto the Master’s programme also at CAFRE which will afford additional career opportunities.

Entry Requirement
Entry to graduate diploma or taught masters programmes at Queen's University Belfast usually requires either a UK upper second-class (2:1) or a lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree. For most courses, your major subject or content of your Bachelor degree may also be considered.
UK Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) : First Division Pass and a minimum final average of 58 - 60% (in the traditional system), or CGPA 5.8 - 7.5 on the 10 point scale; depending on the institution attended and the grading system used.
