Program Overview
Reporting the news accurately and with a passion for the truth is essential in turbulent political times. On our BA (Hons) Journalism with Photography you'll work with the other Journalism students, learning all the relevant skills of modern journalism, but with a distinct focus on photography.
Editors are aware that the right picture sells a story and are looking for people with the right skillset to capture this. To help you develop those skills we partner with Fotonow, specialists in photography for social interest stories. You will also develop powerful writing, editing, film-making and people skills.
You'll benefit from our close-knit industry links. You'll train in our own studio, The Workshop, on the BBC campus in Plymouth, as well as the Fotonow studio and in our on campus media centre.
