Must include grade B in two of Biology (or Human Biology), Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Physical Education or Mathematics. Notes: If you are taking linear A-levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all Science subjects. This is with the exception of private candidates who are unable to take the practical component. We do not consider the EPQ at any point of the assessment process.

International Baccalaureate
34 points including 655 at Higher Level.

IB students studying the new Maths curriculum would be required to study either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation at Higher Level if using Maths to meet the subject requirement.
Contextual International Baccalaureate information
32 points including 554 at Higher Level. Must include grade 5 at Higher Level in two of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Physical Education or Mathematics. Notes: The total point score of 32 includes TOK/EE. IB students studying the new Maths curriculum would be required to study either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation at Higher Level if using Maths to meet the subject requirement.
Standard requirements
The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be 60 credits in total.
Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits overall: 30 credits must be from units awarded at Distinction, with 15 at Merit. The Access to Higher Education Diploma must be in a relevant subject - Sport, Science or similar - and must include 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction each in two of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sport Exercise and Health Science, Physical Education or Mathematics.
Contextual requirements
