Initially, you will follow a set programme, but later in the course there is scope for you to pursue your own interests in greater depth.

Problem solving and project work is an important part of this course and you’ll learn about team work, group organisation and the skills of oral and poster presentations. We also encourage you to work with a school, to experience teaching and develop the skill of presenting information to non-experts.

You will be allocated a personal tutor who will play a key role in helping you to get the most out of your studies, providing support and encouragement. Personal tutors provide you with the opportunity to periodically take stock of your learning, academic progress and general wellbeing as you progress through your studies, offering guidance on how to seek further support if you need it, and how to access the range of opportunities available to you at King's.
