Required modules

You are required to take:
 

• Clinical Nutrition (15 credits)
• Public Health Nutrition (45 credits)
• Principles of Nutrition (45 credits)
• Nutrition Research Skills (15 credits)
• Nutrition Research Project (60 credits)

Standard requirements

A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree with a final mark of at least 60% or above.

If you have a lower degree classification, or a degree in an unrelated subject, your application may be considered if you can demonstrate significant relevant work experience, or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).

Other requirements

Minimum 2:1 first degree in biological science, including components of biochemistry and physiology, or a registrable qualification in medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine.  

UK:
 

Full time: £14,070 per year 
 

International:
 

Full time: £29,310 per year 
 

These tuition fees may be subject to additional increases in subsequent years of study, in line with King’s terms and conditions.

Deposit
 

When you receive an offer for this course you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. The deposit will be credited towards your total fee payment.
 

The UK deposit is £500.
 

The INTERNATIONAL deposit is £2,000.
 

• If you receive an offer on or before 31 March, payment is due by 25 April 2022.

• If you receive an offer between 1 April and 30 June, payment is due within one month of receiving the offer.

• If you receive an offer between 1 July and 31 July, payment is due within two weeks of receiving the offer.

• If you receive an offer between 1 August and 21 August, payment is due within one week of receiving the offer.

• If you receive an offer from 22 August onwards, payment is due within three days of receiving the offer.

Our graduates transfer the skills and knowledge they develop with us to careers in nutrition planning, health promotion, nutrition information, teaching or research for health and education services, governmental organisations, the media and the food industry.

MSc Nutrition students often continue their studies in Dietetics (for a career in dietetics).
